Sandra Sider, a New York quilt artist since the early 1980s, has led critique workshops since 2005. She holds an M.A. in art history from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. Sandra has served as president of SAQA, and today she is Editor of Art Quilt Quarterly and Curator of the Texas Quilt Museum. She has written or edited more than a dozen books concerning contemporary quilt art, including Art Quilts Unfolding: Fifty Years of Innovation and Exploring Your Artistic Voice in Contemporary Quilt Art.
